Learning together to be the best that we can be!
Scroll through for some important information and tips:
We are committed to the safety of online activities for children at Powerstock School. We have an IT adviser who updates our filters and general “health” of our IT equipment along with SWGFL guidelines. Our Internet safety governor Zoe Cary oversees our cycle of review regarding this important aspect of school.
We work in conjunction with the SWFfL 360 safe tool. This is an audit where each aspect of internet safety in school is scrutinised and action plans are made to ensure as far as possible that every area is addressed to keep everyone safe.
We have had an Esafety day where The Safer Communities Policing Team came in to train staff and run sessions with children of all ages to help them keep safe online. Have a closer look to see what they do: https://www.dorset.police.uk/neighbourhood-policing/safe-schools-communities-team/
